For Businesses:
DoingUntoOthers is a grant maker for schools which have important needs that their budgets cannot afford, due to dependency on State tax dollars. These needs can include computers, software, books, building repairs, new construction, emergency supplies in the event of a natural disaster or homeland security issue, etc.
Our grant making ability depends on donations from businesses such as yours.
Donations initiate a ‘pay it forward’ circle of benefits which will make a significant difference for schools, communities and businesses.
By redirecting charitable donations to local schools, businesses will become a tangible benefactor for our most precious asset -- our children.
How the Process Works:
Schools fill out a Grant Request Form and submit it to DoingUntoOthers for review.
In order for the grant request to be considered, the school must volunteer to perform an outreach project which benefits the community. The Community Outreach Form must be submitted in order for the grant to be considered.
DoingUntoOthers provides businesses with summaries of the various grant requests and community outreach projects.
Once a business selects a particular grant request to which it wishes to donate, the ‘pay it forward’ circle of benefits begins with the school scheduling the community outreach. Upon completion of the outreach project the grant is presented to the school. |
How DoingUntoOthers Benefits Your Business:
- Employees are encouraged to play a hands-on role by volunteering to participate in the school’s community outreach projects. This will foster new relationships and plant seeds for cooperation on future community outreach projects.
- Partnering with local schools on community outreach projects will benefit the businesses image and provide excellent public relations, including media exposure in newspapers, radio, and TV.
- Your charitable donation is tax-deductible
